Give to the Max for Crescent Cove!

November 8, 2018

A message from Nicole Haapala, co-chair of NAIOP Minnesota’s Community Enhancement committee:

NAIOP Minnesota and its Community Enhancement committee are so proud that Crescent Cove is our three-year charitable partner!

Since becoming our partner in 2017, Crescent Cove has purchased, renovated and opened their Respite & Hospice Home for Kids. This home serves children and young adults with a shortened life expectancy, and their families who love them, for respite stays and sacred, end-of-life care. Their mission is fully funded by philanthropy so every dollar given through NAIOP's Community Enhancement Committee, our annual fundraising events, and gifts from individuals, makes an impact in their ability to serve kids and families.

Give to the Max Day

Crescent Cove has a goal to raise $20,000 between now and November 15, Minnesota's annual giving day. Dollars contributed now count for this year's Give to the Max Day!

Please consider making a gift -- no matter how large or small -- as it allows families a break from 24/7 caregiving, and gives the kids a special place to make new memories.

WAYS TO DONATE:

If you have questions about making a gift, contact Tara Anderson or call 952-426-4711 x4. Thank you for Making Moments Count for Kids & Families!

Volunteer Opportunities

In addition, if interested, Crescent Cove also has numerous volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups. Here are just a few ideas that a group from your team or office could support between now and January:

  • Make a meal at the House
  • Make freezer meals
  • Come with an activity for the kids to do (if kids staying are able to participate based on capability)
  • Deep clean Crescent Cove Home
  • Come play music for an hour at Crescent Cove Home
  • Host a themed party for kids staying at the House (treats, activities, games, etc)
  • Snow removal if needed!
  • Household items drive
  • Food drive

Contact Katy Glitsos or call 952-426-4711 x6 to set up a day for your group to volunteer.

Thank you for your consideration and support of NAIOP's charitable partner.
