NAIOP Minnesota Announces Barbara Chirinos as 2026 President

Barb ChirinosNAIOP Minnesota is pleased to announce Barbara Chirinos, VP, Senior Sales Executive, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, will serve as NAIOP Minnesota’s 2026 Board President.

Chirinos has been an active member of NAIOP since 2006, serving or chairing such committees as Community Enhancement and Education.

“One of my favorite things about being a part of NAIOP is the diversity of the membership and especially seeing the next generation connecting and contributing. NAIOP Minnesota has long played a pivotal role in shaping the commercial real estate landscape in the Twin Cities and beyond. Our organization provides valuable networking opportunities, high quality education, and a collaborative environment that supports the continued growth and evolution of our industry,” says Chirinos.

Over the course of her 23 years of commercial real estate industry experience and 38 years in title insurance, Chirinos has held positions locally, regionally and nationally, bringing expertise in title insurance and closing services for large multi-site/multi-state commercial real estate transactions nationwide. She also specializes in renewable energy projects, specifically solar.

“I’m excited to serve alongside a diverse and highly knowledgeable Board of Directors whose expertise represents a wide range of disciplines across commercial real estate,” says Chirinos. “Together, we are committed to ensuring NAIOP MN remains relevant, responsive, and forward looking as the market continues to change around us.

We have many exciting initiatives ahead in 2026. We look forward to engaging our membership, strengthening our Public Policy efforts, supporting events with our charitable partner, and collaborating with national leadership as we prepare to usher in a new name later this year.”

Also serving in officer roles are Jacki Christopher, Ryan Companies US, Inc., vice president; Jim Vitt, Associated Bank, treasurer; and Marc Nanne, JLL, immediate past president.

Returning Board Members are David Anderson, Frauenshuh; Rhett Carlson, Sherman Associates; Andy McIntosh, McGough Development; Nick Murnan, The Opus Group; Jill Rasmussen, Davis; and Chris Wold, United Properties.

August Bruggeman, H. & Val J. Rothschild, Inc.; Shawn Smith, Wildamere; Lindsey Thompson, Mortenson Development; and Nick Trevena, Link, will be serving their first terms as Board Members.
