All NAIOP members who are age 35 and under qualify to participate in the DL program. As long as we can verify your birth date, you are automatically considered a DL and have immediate access to all the benefits of the program.

The Developing Leaders (DLs) host a number of educational and social events each year, including the recurring programs below.

Mentorship Program

The Mentor Program provides DL members unique, one-on-one interactions with a leader in the CRE industry. Participants are invited to exclusive Mentor Program networking opportunities throughout the year. 2024 mentee registration will open in spring; email NAIOP staff with questions.

Educational Mini-Series

The Developing Leaders offer an annual educational mini-series series. Past events have included tours of Target Center Renovation and Mayo Clinic Square, Allianz Field, the Dayton's Project, and 3701 Wayzata. Check NAIOP's calendar for details as 2024 events are announced.

Real Estate Recess

Join fellow Developing Leaders for an afternoon of fun, networking, and friendly competition at the Real Estate Recess event, held annually each summer. Proceeds benefit NAIOP's charitable partner Folds of Honor Minnesota, providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members.
