Thank you to the 60+ CRE industry members who joined us in St. Paul for the 2026 Day at the Capitol!

Numerous legislators dropped in throughout the day, providing their perspectives on what to expect over the course of this session. At the same time, attendees informed the legislators of the industry's 2026 priorities, including taxes, energy & sustainability, and workforce development.

That same morning, a hearing was held in the House Judiciary committee on HF2959, which relates to tax data privacy in the property tax appeal process. Roz Peterson, NAIOP MN's Public Policy Director, and Lane Thor, Ryan Tax, testified in support of the bill.
