2020 University Challenge Recap

April 29, 2020

While the in-person event for this year's University Challenge was cancelled, the competition forged ahead!

Student teams were asked to create a proposal for 18.5 acres of the Canterbury Commons site, a large-scale development surrounding Canterbury Park in Shakopee.

The teams had to address a development plan, construction timeline, budget, pro-forma, leasing plan and schedule, financing plan and market analysis.

The students' proposals are linked below, which detailed their team's development plan for Canterbury Commons.

Congratulations to the top 3 teams!
  1. Marquette University
  2. St. Cloud State University
  3. University of Minnesota
