Proposed Minneapolis Ordinance Referred Back to Committee

October 30, 2020

NAIOP Minnesota’s public policy team is pleased to report that Friday morning (Oct 30) the Minneapolis City Council did NOT approve the pending ordinance that would have required certain property owners to provide advance notice of their intent to sell a property. Instead, the Council voted to return the proposal back to the Business, Inspections, Housing and Zoning Committee for further dialog and a public hearing.

NAIOP Minnesota and the CRE industry will continue to find a more workable solution for the issues targeted in this ordinance.
