23rd Annual University Challenge

Student teams from regional universities are charged with pitching a deal to potential investors that involves the most profitable yet feasible project that maximizes value while achieving the highest risk adjusted return.

The teams are asked to address a development plan, construction timeline, budget, pro-forma, leasing plan and schedule, financing plan and market analysis.

The Site

This year's site is the Graco Minneapolis Riverfront Campus in NE Minneapolis. For the competition, teams should assume that the building will be 100% vacant at the time of acquisition and may choose to reuse the existing building improvements or choose to demolish the building and start with a vacant site.
