21st Annual University Challenge
Student teams from regional universities are charged with pitching a deal to potential investors that involves the most profitable yet feasible project that maximizes value while achieving the highest risk adjusted return.
The teams are asked to address a development plan, construction timeline, budget, pro-forma, leasing plan and schedule, financing plan and market analysis.
The Site
This year's site is the Meritex Freight House in downtown St. Paul. In the proposals, the student teams should assume the building at 444 N Pine St cannot be torn down. Teams may choose to operate as-is, remodel, demolish, or partially demolish the remaining buildings.
