Lynette Dumalag, Council Member, St. Louis Park Ward 2
Lynette Dumalag has served as Ward 2 council member since November 2020, first appointed to fill the remainder of the term following a resignation, then elected to the position in November 2021.
She has been a resident of St. Louis Park since 2006. She served as vice chair of the St. Louis Park Planning Commission and was a council-appointed member of the city’s Vision 3.0 steering committee.
Dumalag has extensive experience serving on nonprofit and business boards, including Aeon, Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minneapolis Downtown Council and Downtown Improvement District, MinnPost.com, Urban Land Institute MN, Building Owners and Managers of Greater Minneapolis and the Commercial Real Estate Diversity Collaborative. Dumalag serves on the Dean’s Advisory Committee for Metropolitan State University’s College of Management, working to create pathways into the commercial real estate industry for students and graduates.
Dumalag has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and a Master of Business Administration from Hamline University. In 2016, Lynette was selected by GREATER MSP and the Itasca Project to participate in the Harvard Business School’s Young American Leaders Program, U.S. Competitiveness Project, which is a research-led effort to understand and improve the competitiveness of the United States in a global economy.
She is a commercial real estate broker. Dumalag and her family live in the Minikahda Oaks Neighborhood.
