2010 is a very important year for the Minnesota legislature, with the struggling economy, budget pressures on the State of Minnesota, and the upcoming elections. NAIOP's Developing Leader members are invited to join in for an informal presentation by David Olson, President of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce regarding the upcoming legislative session and commercial real estate.
Mr. Olson has been the President of the Minnesota Chamber since 1991 and represents over 2,400 Minnesota companies, 130 local chambers and 65 business trade associations at the Minnesota Legislature on a variety of issues that impact Minnesota’s economy.
Legislators are looking for ways to raise money and close the budget gap and Mr. Olson will talk about why this session and the legislative process is relevant to the commercial real estate industry and its clients.
