Mentorship Lunch & Learn – The MIX Project with Brent Webb

Brent Webb, Business Development Executive, Mortenson

Brent has more than 16 years of industry experience and through his background in real estate development and deep ties to the community, he is one of the Business Development leaders for Mortenson’s Minnesota Operating Group. In his role as Business Development Executive, Brent strives to cultivate strategic business partnerships, provide insight and strategic direction for a wide range of work acquisition efforts and maintain relationships with customers to advance their business objectives and growth plans. Brent graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has served as a board member for the Minneapolis Downtown Council, co-chaired the Council’s Residential Task Force where he was recognized for his substantial contributions towards the success of Explore Downtown Living. He is a member of NAIOP; volunteers with One Village Partners, an NGO that spurs economic development in Sierra Leon; and is a founder of the Hammer, an annual curling tournament supporting Hearts & Hammers, a non-profit that rehabs homes for elderly and disabled individuals in Minnesota.

Pat Mascia, Managing Director, UMFREA

Pat and the UMFREA team are responsible for managing, leasing, and developing UMFREA’s residential and commercial real estate portfolio. Pat's career started in 1991 as an Associate Lawyer in the Real Estate Section of the Briggs and Morgan law firm in St. Paul, Minnesota (now Taft, Stettinius & Hollister). In 1997, Pat moved to Opus U.S. Corporation as Associate General Counsel and then, in 1998, was named Vice President of Dispositions, Finance and Investments for Opus Properties, LLC. In 2004, Duke Realty, a national real estate investment trust, hired Pat to run its Minnesota operations. Pat returned to Briggs and Morgan as a partner in 2014, becoming the Section Leader of Briggs’ Real Estate Section. After nearly 7 years at Briggs (Taft), Pat moved into his current position with UMFREA. Pat is an active volunteer in the real estate industry and the community.
