This event is sold out.

Attn: NAIOP members
Herb Tousley of Exeter and Mitch Osterholt of Frana will detail the ins-and-outs of their Custom House project, which transformed the former Post Office building in downtown St. Paul into 202 upscale apartments and a 149-room Hyatt Place hotel. This exclusive opportunity is available to the first 30 registered NAIOP members.

The program will include a site tour as well as a discussion on:
  • Project financing, including cleanup grants as well as state and federal historic tax credits
  • Design challenges related to maintaining the building's historic fabric
  • Complexity of completing apartment and hotel components simultaneously, including separate ownership and financing structures, two general contractors, and several hundred workers on-site at any given time
  • Market feasibility
